It's a homely wala stay ..thank you guruji

They don't have water in there room and if you will them for water the will not recieve your call at any cost we have call them more than 50 times they do not recieve the call please never think to stay there very bad services 😔

It's an ashram who advertises and charges for a room with basic facilities. Those basic facilities advertised are hot water, wifi, pick and drop off among others. Varanasi weather was so muggy, sweaty and unpleasant which made things worse. Another thing is, don't use their pick-up drop off guyas he charges 1.5 times more. Good thing first: people in the ashram were helpful in suggesting transportation, nearby roads,SIM prices, dhobi etc. Now:- Based on their listing and the fact that it's a Ved school, I booked the room. 7hrs before I arrived they texted me saying there is no pick up, no hot water, no wifi ( depending on electricity)and charges will be 800(agreed 500 before). After a lot of back and forth I got pick up.. this is first time so I didn't want to bargain and look for a ride at 10pm. They finally agreed for 500 as originally decided. When I reached, they gave me wifi that would not work in the room. It only worked in the outside courtyard - so No Wifi. For 3 days I didn't get hot water in a bucket. Manager doesn't wake up until 9am so no help there. I showered with cold water in the morning which caused some body issues. After 3 days of asking, I got wifi in the room a day before I left. Even after asking I never got hot water in time and I missed morning Ganga Arti. A couple of people asked for money. I understand financially people may have issues, but asking like this made me uncomfortable as I can't just distribute money to everyone. Cleanliness is a big issue around the ashram. They should teach the kids cleanliness by keeping the premises clean.

Best service and food in low budget

Location are very good near sankatmochan temple and very near to assi ghat, But not for residential purpose very worst room and services please don't stay here as per my recommendation..

I and my two friends are with me. We both study in school. We had just planned together. We had thoroughly visited Hanuman temple in Varanasi. We had booked this doormattery . We had taken three beds here. But we decided that our situation was such that we had to save money, so one of our friends lives here. He arranged a room for us or invited us to his house. But he invited us late. When we told the owner or whatever the person is that he would keep the money for the duration of our stay and return the money for the duration of our stay (we stayed only 30 mins after booking), he did not listen. His great master also refused us. We felt very bad. It was a great experience. We had a lot of bed experience and the owner of this place is also very commercial. This is a 400-year-old Dharamshala, but the thinking of the people here is very bad, which should not happen. There should not be so much commercialism. Dharamshala should not be kept as Dharamshala. Tha's why I'm giving this Dharamshala, only one star rating. Such a very bad behaviour of the person who is managing this dharamshala

Actually this is a amazing place for solo travellers because it is one beded and comfortable place in varanasi also had a good sleep at night and a sacred place in varansi when u reach at Varanasi u can get budget friendly stay at here.and very cleaned bathroom friendly customer care must visit this ashram

It’s an old dharmshala, so nice place to stay if you want some desi old vibes. The place is clean and has cold drinking water supply 24 hours. It has rooms which can accommodate people from 2-6. AC non AC options are there. Has a dormitory as well. Overall a good place to stay and good connectivity. Near a famous landmark called Pushkar talab. The only thing I did not like was the non ac rooms look packed and become too suffocating. Note: I did not stay in non ac but with the heat I could feel it won’t be easy to stay in non ac rooms. Also the quality of mattress should be improved. They were too thin.
