My stay at Nandi Retreat Guest House was truly wonderful. The property has a peaceful, homely vibe that instantly puts you at ease. Its location is one of the biggest highlights, just 15-20 minute’s walk from the ghat, and very close to Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Bhairav Mandir, which makes the experience even more convenient and meaningful. The food was also really good, simple and delicious, just the way Banaras feels, warm, comforting, and wholesome. A special mention to Ranjeet Ji and Sanjay Ji, the property managers. They made the stay even better with their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and helpful nature. From guiding us around to making sure everything was perfect, they genuinely cared about our experience. Overall, it’s a perfect stay if you want comfort, cleanliness, and a location that keeps you close to the soul of the city. I’d definitely recommend Nandi Retreat Guest House for anyone visiting Banaras.

Kashi is Chaotic, but this hotel is pretty good, quite and calm. Has got its own parking space in the basement of the hotel, although maybe only 3-4 cars can get parked due to the small space. The food is absolutely delicious here in their restaurant although some may find it a bit high. Overall, very comfortable and clean rooms with working AC, clean washrooms and a lift for those who find it difficult to move up and down.

Extremely caring support staff. Superb food, both quality and taste-wise. All major tourist attractions nearby. Loved the experience.

Unbeatable Location: Near To Kashi Vishwanath Temple & 5 minutes walk to Famous Maha Mrityunjaya Temple & and Close to All Major Attractions One of the best aspects of my visit was how near to Kashi Vishwanath Temple the guest house is. Each morning I strolled down to the temple in under ten minutes minutes—an absolute gift when you want to catch the early aarti. Beyond the temple, I found myself close to all major attractions: Dashashwamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, and even the bustling Vishwanath Gali markets were all within easy walking distance. Tuk-tuk rides are also easily available ! Equipped with All Modern Amenities for a Comfortable Stay: Despite being nestled in the heart of old Varanasi, Nandi Retreat is equipped with all modern amenities plus everything is new bed, mattress, pillows, AC etc etc..... I was staying in Deluxe air-conditioned room had a comfortable queen-sized bed, a clean ensuite bathroom with strong water pressure, and a reliable high-speed internet connection. Our room was well ventilated with big window and a nice clean curtain to make it cozy. Bathroom was neat and clean with all modern amenities plus they clean the room and bathroom daily that's a great thumbs up from our side. Cozy Roof Top Restaurant & Excellent Food: Each evening, I made it a ritual to head up to the cozy roof top restaurant, which offers tasty food with great ambience. The menu features a range of excellent food—from traditional Banarasi kachori sabzi to fluffy dal-tadka and buttery paneer dishes. Warm Hospitality: Humble Staff Who Go the Extra Mile: Finally, what truly made my stay memorable was the humble staff and also Courteous and Wonderful Host Kashika Ji. From the front-desk team who greeted me by name every morning, to the restaurant servers who patiently explained local dishes, everyone at Nandi Retreat treated me like family. They helped arrange a dawn boat ride, recommended hidden alleys for the best street snacks, and even stored my bags on the last day so I could explore unencumbered. In summary, my four days at Nandi Retreat Guest House were the perfect blend of affordability, convenience, and genuine hospitality my five years old old enjoyed the most. If you’re looking for a budget friendly, centrally located retreat near to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, equipped with all modern amenities, serving excellent food, and staffed by truly humble people—this is the place to book. The cleanest hotel you're going to find for the most reasonable budget. The owners pay personal attention and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. I had food which was very homely in taste. Has two wheeler parking. You have rooms for every category. Biggest advantage is walking distance from temple.
