I often find myself doubting the authenticity of online reviews for any institution, product, or service. But today, I am genuinely compelled to write one — all because of an exceptional experience. Yes… I’m talking about Maitri Multispeciality Hospital, Varanasi. It is truly one of the best hospitals not just in Varanasi but across India. Why? Because of one outstanding doctor — Dr. Tripty Singh ma’am. She is one of the most calm, composed, and knowledgeable doctors in Gynaecology & Obstetrics, with over 12 years of experience. I have rarely met a doctor like her, even across India. I want to highlight one incident: during my very first visit, I had multiple queries and concerns. Despite having a long queue of patients waiting in OPD, she spent nearly 30 minutes with me, patiently answering every single question with clarity and empathy. Such behaviour is extremely rare in North India, especially in Varanasi. Hospital Experience: From the moment we stepped in, we felt at home. Nothing felt different — whether it was the warm behaviour of the staff, the kindness of the nurses (special mention to Shivangi), or even the canteen food. Everything was perfect. We had a normal delivery, and both mother and baby are absolutely fine. The total cost came to around ₹50–55K, which I felt was reasonable considering we opted for a single-family private AC room and stayed for four days. What I appreciated the most is that every member of the team — doctors, nurses, and staff — strongly encourages normal delivery. They guide you, motivate you, and help you stay confident. In case of any complications, they clearly explain the situation and take your consent, but their first preference is always a normal delivery, which is commendable. The management is equally efficient. A special mention to Manager Pradeep Yadav, who is extremely professional and helpful. One small suggestion: It would be great if the hospital could provide a detailed price breakup or quotation beforehand. It creates transparency and helps set clear expectations. That said, whatever estimate they shared verbally was exactly what we ended up paying — and that level of honesty is truly appreciated. Disclaimer: Don’t judge the hospital by the size of its building. Dr Ashutosh is the best gastroenterologist in Varanasi. I was in the hospital for seven days. The entire staff was very friendly and supportive, including the hospital manager, nurses, and pathological staff. And the food provided at the hospital's end was also good.

My wife recently had a procedure at Matri Hospital and I am extremely happy with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The nurses were attentive and knowledgeable and the doctor Tripti madam was awesome. She has great knowledge in gynac field. My wife's high risk pregnancy was handled in a great manner.
