I had a wonderful stay at Kashi Vandanam Homestay. The location is excellent — it connects easily to all the important places in Varanasi like the Ghats, Lanka, Luxa Road, the Temple, and even the railway station. The rooms and toilets were very neat and clean. I initially planned to stay for just 2 days, but the homely environment made me extend my stay to 7 days! The manager, Ankit, and housekeeping staff, Vinod and Suroj, were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel completely at home. The pricing is very reasonable, and I can confidently say this is the best budget homestay and dormitory in Varanasi. Truly a home away from home!

I booked the Kashi Vandanam Homestay for 03.10.2025(Check-in) till 05.10.2025(Check-out) through Agoda. However, due to the incessant rainfall in Varanasi on October 3, I could not check-in the hotel as the roads near the hotel were water-logged. Hence, I contacted the hotel and requested them to cancel the booking. I was informed by them that since I have made booking through Agoda, I have to contact the Agoda customer care. Hence, I contacted the Agoda customer care for the same. The Agoda customer care contacted the above mentioned hotel but could not accede to my request. On humanitarian grounds normally, the hotel management would give refund to the customers for conditions beyond their control. But, this hotel management even blocked my phone number when I contacted them. Hence, I am very disappointed with the hotel management and owner.

Perfect for anyone seeking comfort, spirituality, and the true essence of Banaras. Specifically thanks to Ankit pandey ji (person on reception) he is like your big brother. He helps me a lot and he has a very friendly nature.

Hello guysss, We are a solo and stayed here for 2 days. It's very close (walking distance) to the main area (Kashi temple). Most other areas are also well connected. The place is clean and gets cleaned everyday. The facilities in the room are adequate and everything was functional. The lane is pretty quiet so not much noise from outside. The staff running the place are gentle and responsive. It felt safe to stay here and is also covered with CCTV, which is good. Reasonable good food options are available nearby and the hotel also provides food in the room from their cloud kitchen. They do have dormitory options too. Would recommend this to others. Staff is very good n supporting other outdoor local sightseeing good guided. Family Rooms / dormitory rooms cleaning is very hygienic Proper air freshener n washrooms cleaning 👌

Nice place to stay at very fare price dormitory condition is very good as well as wash room area is very neat & clean.
