I happened to visit this bakery around 11 PM at night, a bit late but surprisingly the place was still open and welcoming. The first thing I noticed was the peaceful vibe — soft lights, calm surroundings, and a very neat setup. The ambience felt cozy and relaxing, perfect for a late-night coffee break. I ordered a cappuccino and a pastry on the owner’s suggestion. The cappuccino was nicely brewed, rich in flavor with a smooth creamy texture. But the real highlight of my visit was the pastry. Honestly, I’ve tried pastries at several bakeries across Varanasi, but this one stood out. The freshness, the softness, and the balance of sweetness were just perfect. It literally melted in my mouth. I could feel the difference in quality — it was not just good, it was memorable. The bakery also has ample parking space, which makes it convenient for anyone visiting by car or bike, especially since it’s located in one of the prime areas of Varanasi, close to Assi Ghat. The location itself adds charm — peaceful yet lively surroundings. Another thing that impressed me was the owner’s behaviour. He was humble, friendly, and seemed genuinely passionate about what he serves. He personally recommended the pastry I tried, and I’m really glad I followed his suggestion. It’s rare to see such involvement and care from the owner’s side these days. Overall, it was a wonderful late-night experience — good food, good vibes, and great hospitality. I would definitely love to visit again and try more items next time. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good coffee and freshly baked treats!

I ordered this cake from VCD backery, and found 2 hairs and an insect inside the cake layers. The cake was also not fresh and had crusty dry bread

I buy red velvet and chocolate bento cake and this is so good taste and I order again and again 😉

Worst experience with the bakery person, i ordered a cake with the bakery, when i called for the update he started yelling at me. Worst pathetic customer experience, it was prepaid and even cake was not given. Spoiled the birthday as cake wasn't delivered. Major was the behaviour, very pathetic behaviour by the owner.

We had a good awesome food with awesome burger and cakes and brownie self baked and cooked.

I had ordered cakes from VCD previously, both times amazing tasting cakes. Tried their cold coffee today, which was pretty good too. The proprietor Mr Saurabh was very courteous and helpful. Over all a good experience.
