A Stock Market of Experiences: High Ambience, Low Execution The 3rd Floor Bar Stock Exchange in Varanasi offers a striking, energetic ambiance that is certainly its strongest feature. The unique stock market concept for drinks is engaging, and the general atmosphere is a decent setting for a night out. However, the experience is severely hampered by major inconsistencies in quality and service, resulting in a disappointing overall visit. The food proved to be a significant weakness. While the menu offers variety, the preparation often falls flat, tasting generally bland. A major letdown was the Ramen, which was notably poor—lacking in flavor, featuring low-quality vegetables, and served in a broth that was neither rich nor authentic. If you visit for dining, stick to safer, simpler options. The service, unfortunately, was the most troubling aspect. While initial interactions were adequate, we experienced a highly misleading and costly situation regarding drinks. A requested drink was swapped for an alternative under the assurance of maintaining the same price, only to be presented with a final bill inflated by an inexplicable extra charge of nearly ₹5000, with staff conveniently "forgetting" the promised price parity. This deceptive practice is unacceptable and overshadows any positives. Finally, the entertainment elements need attention. The music selection felt repetitive and dated, and there seemed to be no management overseeing the playlist or DJ quality. Furthermore, the dance floor area itself was not sufficiently maintained, which detracted from the social atmosphere. Verdict: The Bar Stock Exchange has high potential due to its concept and setting, but severe failures in food execution, poor quality control, and, most critically, highly misleading and questionable billing practices make it difficult to recommend. Proceed with extreme caution and scrutinize your final bill closely.
Good vibe, good food, good service. What's not to like? Would happily return. Only recommendation would be to serve the Moscow Mule in a copper or tin mug rather than a glass.
Live music. Pretty good... For Varanasi. No draft beer. Whisky was priced ok. They went light on the ice. Peanuts🙌👍😬👌 Ordered the Caesar salad... They recommended the paneer Tikka on my Caesar😳🤦♂️🤔🤮 no thanks. The salad was 🤟🤠
I like the food but quantity was less as per the pricing. Service was not upto the mark I need to call for everything, only they gave water on entry after that they forgot that someone is sitting there. -I called them to take order -I called them to clean the table (after having snacks) -They don't serve the food in plates, they just keep it on the table... !! And in the bill there was a service charges. I am not satisfied with the quality of service i recieved.
The 3rd Bar Stock Exchange Restaurant offers a unique blend of great food, vibrant ambience, and an exciting stock market-themed bar experience. From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is electric — live screens show fluctuating drink prices just like a stock market, creating an engaging and playful vibe for guests. The menu is quite extensive, offering everything from Indian fusion to Continental and Asian options. The Chicken Tikka Pizza and Butter Chicken Bao are standout dishes — well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cocktails are cleverly named and well-mixed, with their prices changing based on demand, adding a fun twist to the ordering process. Service is generally quick and courteous. The staff is well-trained and knowledgeable about the menu. The seating arrangement is comfortable, whether you’re with a group or on a date. Live DJ and occasional music nights add more energy to the place, especially on weekends. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and the overall experience. It’s a great place for casual meetups, celebrations, or even just to unwind after work. The unique concept of stock-style pricing truly sets it apart from other bars in the city. Overall, 3rd Bar Stock Exchange is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience worth trying.
∆ The taste of food is good. ∆ It's an expensive restaurant. ∆ Ambience is unique. ∆ The behaviour of the staff is so good. ∆ Parking is available. ∆ Overall it's a good restaurant for a party, food, etc. ∆ Safe place for everyone.
It’s a good upscale pub in the town with dance floor .. great place to hangout but still I feel a bit improvement can be done on service and food part . Great mocktails and cocktails .. local upscale crowd seems missing might be a chance !
Great place and ambience.. The space is well laid out and spacious with high roof, good air circulation and lighting.. The foods great… really good and loved it. Music was also great probably I liked the kinda music being played… The concept stock exchange is a great idea…the price fluctuates and there are screens with live liquor prices for you to keep you occupied and continue till you order the next drink. Keeps your mind occupied to check if your next drink is gonna be expensive or lower and make a choice to continue with the same choice or shift..😁 The bar counter is well displayed and organised. The staffs are courteous, they do explain out your queries repetitively till you have heard it right and made a choice. Highly recommend to visit this amidst your busy schedule and unwind..
