Great location, dasashwamedh ghat and kashi vishwanath temple, both are in walking distance. Spacious and clean room Delicious and reasonably priced food, every item tasted good Room rate also very reasonable Basic amenities like soap, shampoo, tea kettle available and things like dental kit, towel available on request. Service very slow, for everything you have to call reception 3-4 times, kitchen is not equipped to handle if hotel is full, a basic item like pakoda and sandwich takes 40 minutes and sometime after 1 hour of taking order they refuse to serve and if they get a big order then they refused to take any snacks order. Vegetables get finished and you have to choose from whatever is available. Staff, though polite and well behaved, are bit unprofessional, also it's understaffed. But for the price you pay, this much adjustments is fine. Also people at reception area very helpful and tries to do best in whatever resources are available to them. Highly recommended for budget travellers

We stayed this hotel from 12th Dec to 15 the Dec 2025. Travelled with senior citizens. Pros: 1. The hotel is senior citizen friendly with a lift and rooms available on ground floor. 2. Location is near to Dashashwamedh Ghat. Walkable about 850 meters. 3. Vicinity to famous eateries in varanasi Cons: The hotel promises a lot and has potential to serve much better, but fails big time. 1. Irregular hot water supply: As we travelled during winters, hot water was must, however, due to some plumbing issues, it was not satisfactory experience for all three mornings. For 2 mornings, did not get hot water, 1 morning got it VERY hot on all taps(no cold water to mix). 2. We had a mice in our room during our stay which was a really a facepalm situation, as I was traveling with senior citizens. 3. The rooms are small for 3 people, they will put the mattress which doesn't really fit in the room. 4. Owner is not responsive: Owner has only one solution for all these problems i.e. changing the room. Owner never accepted shortfall of his hotel and seems far off from ground realities. Staff is helpful but helpless as they have their own limitations but they do their best. In a nutshell, hope the owner takes this feedback constructively and works better

We were a group of 36 people and had 3 nights stay. Location wise it's too good..Shree Kashi Vishwanath ji and Dashashwamedh Ghat is at a walking distance. And for other places your get auto conveniently. They catered to all the needs...staff is super supportive. Vishal ji, Surya, Vikas and all other staff members are always available to your calls and queries. I asked so many questions before coming as it's a huge group with majority senior citizens and they guided so well before making booking and the same continued while stay. Rooms are nice, spacious and neat ...food is very homely, clean and tasty. Even we packed our lunch for the train..Hygeine, taste and quantity all good. Over all very nice whether it's about local guidance, arranging autos, food, location and all. Recommended to fellow travelers.

Har Har Mahadev.. I choose this place after so many search. It's worth it. Perfect location for everything that's any travel wants. Next to all famous places which is known for banaras travel list. Staff is very supportive. Reception person responses are very quick. I love this place. Hope next trip will soon to Banaras with this same place stay...

I have stayed here for 2 nights and rooms are quite spacious and good. Best for bigger families with more than 5-6 people as this hotel has rooms with 4 and 6 beds as well, which I don't find in many hotels. Decent location for temple access, but lots of traffic congestion due to construction of bridge here. Room service can be better, no restaurant but you will find many options very next to this hotel.

I have stayed with my family from the 9th to the 13th of Nov. The location is well connected with the railway station, the room is neat and clean, all the staff's behavior is very good, and also they are very helpful. The food quality is very good. 24 hrs. Hot water is available.

Rooms are good and well located in peak location of varanasi easy to found it by the help of manager surya and he also helps us for wheelchair facility to temple for my old parents. We booked four bed room but he give us free room upgrade to six bed big room.

Very good and comfortable stay at varanasi.we book my stay with family through booking.com but I feel not confirmed about the hotel than manager surya helped me and send me real time pictures and also give us perfect explanation about temple and ghats so everything was very easy through him so very supportive staffs and hotel is also good location .

Our stay at Shiva International, Varanasi from 21st to 23rd Oct was a nightmare. The hotel manager, Surya, took money from us in advance to arrange a cab for local sightseeing and our drop to Ayodhya. On the day of travel to Ayodhya, the cab never arrived — we waited for over 3 hours on the street with our luggage and small kids, completely stranded. When we tried to reach Surya, he kept giving excuses and stopped responding after some time. It was extremely stressful and unprofessional. This kind of cheating and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Surya is a fraud — do not trust him or give any money in advance. Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are much better and more reliable places to stay in Varanasi.

Staying at Hotel Shiva International in Varanasi was a pleasure. The rooms are clean, and the location near Godowliya is ideal Friendlies staff and a comfortable atmosphere made my visit smooth. A solid choice for anyone visiting.
