Sharad bahar restaurant is on the first floor opposite to harishchandra inter College, maidagin. This restaurant is not spacious, but popular for south Indian dishes, especially Dosa. Ambience is average. You will not find places for nice pictures. The food quality is awesome, nice taste. Sambhar , chutney and Rasam are provided with dosa and one can refill it without extra charge. Service is ok. Parking for two wheeler is available but for four wheeler parking not available. Overall a nice south indian restaurant. One can visit for good taste in an affordable price. They should work on ambience.

Issue with parking and seating. No AC and just a single cooler available. Food is tasty yet feels really heavy because of all oiliness. Suggestions : Do try Special Rawa Dosa

One of the to go place whenever i visit varanasi. I love the special rawa dosa and ras bundiya. But to my utter surprise the taste was so poor when i visited yesterday i.e.,on 27/8. As usual, I ordered special rawa dosa and paneer dosa but taste was not at all good. Felt like filling of dosa was cooked in poor quality oil plus the rawa dosa was too thick. I told my ordeal to owner and he told me that the original staff was not available due to covid. They returned to their home place and haven't come back yet. I wish and i hope that original staff should be back otgerwise finding a different place with same taste would be difficult.
