I stayed in this hotel with my family during Dussehra vacation. Hotel is good we all have a pleasant stay. Food quality slightly expensive but quality is good. It is in price location nearer to Nepali mandir in Paltan Bazar. Happy with the quick response at reception by Pooja Ma’am. Overal experience is excellent. Great place to stay.
Had a wonderful stay at Sagar Hotel in Guwahati. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is polite and attentive. Pure veg in-house restaurant Sagar Ratna food is excellent, especially for vegetarians. There’s a wide variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. Special thanks to the manager Bhanu Upadhyay who always make sure our stay is comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guwahati.
The minute we walked into the lobby we felt a warm homelike feeling. The staff greeted us in a very friendly manner and made sure we had everything we needed and more, especially the manager Mr. Bhanu. The room was very comfortable, decor was nice in room and lobby.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at Hotel Sagar,Guwahati. The hospitality was top-notch, with special thanks to the Manager-operation, Mr.Bhanu B. Upadhyay , who was exceptionally humble, polite, and cooperative throughout. The food was excellent—especially the complimentary breakfast, which truly stood out in terms of taste and variety. Service was consistently prompt and efficient, making the stay even more comfortable. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and hygiene was clearly a priority. The dining hall was also large and inviting, creating a great atmosphere for meals. All staff members were courteous and well-trained. Highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.
