I took guidance from Dr Agarwal Sir for my UPSC English optional from Punjab. He has been an indispensable part of my journey. I met him in 2023 when it was my first attempt. Despite failing successive prelims, he kept in touch with me and guided me like a true visionary teacher. His one on one classes were very helpful for UPSC mains. He is the only credible and laudable faculty as far as English literature optional is concerned. Don't trust this coaching and don't waste your money here. It's not worth the money. They only keep pestering you to buy their other courses and after you buy one and nothing as promised is provided. No provision for answer writing, no test series is provided in the course. They are only dedicated to sell on their study material or different materials like businessmen. Nothing is tailored as per the needs of the exam. Very short and brief surface level teaching. No focus on answer writing sessions. Once the fee is done, you are done. No after care or check ins, and if you call or want to communicate they are busy. Before buying the course the teacher is himself involved, and once you pay the fees and want to contact for any advise or doubt or strategy or enquiry they are at all hours busy. Live classes are promised but only recorded ones are provided and those too are extremely substandard. They just keep telling you and bragging about the number of selections which are not visible anywhere else. Neither in results, nor in their efforts. It's just a propaganda and manipulative method to earn money, extremely manipulative. Much better content is available on YouTube and internet for free. And nobody has forced me to write this except my extremely disappointed conscience.

I have purchased the study material and the UPSC English Literature Optional course from OSN Academy and I must say that it has made my optional journey easier by providing a one stop destination for whole of the syllabus through the study material and made understanding of history of literature, prose, poetry and drama a piece of cake. As well as the content is very rich with extensive use of words and phrases which is a value addition as I get to learn a lot from it! And just completing the syllabus is not it but throughout the journey a proper guidance is very important which I felt I was lacking as far as my optional was concerned but now sir also provides timely and apt guidance may it be regarding the answer writing or regarding clearance of any doubts.
