Aloo tikki is tasty must try...but tamatar chaat is little spicy and thick in texture comparatively banaras chaat i rate it 2. The atmosphere is little suffocated inside n unhygienic because place of cooking is on footpath side...sitting area is less. Staff is nice and the service was good and on time.
The Dhai Papdi Chaat and Tikki at Niarala Chaat Bhandar were absolutely delicious. The quality and quantity were impressive, and the prices were reasonable for such tasty snacks.
I recently visited Nirala Chat Wala with my cousin. My cousin lives in Civil lines and I asked him to suggest a place for snacks. He gave me this option. We went around 4 Pm and hence there was no rush. We ordered Paapdi Chaat and Veg Roll. The order was delivered to us in a jiffy. We were disappointed as well at the same time as Spring Rolls was our first priority but it was not ready to serve. I would say the Paapdi Chaat was top notch in taste as well as presentation. The Veg Roll was a regular taste and nothing unique. It has a lot of scope to improve. The filling of potatoes in the Veg Roll could be more flavourful. Overall we had a great time here. Chaats are highly recommended.
Went to this place based on the recommendations of the Times that it's a must go place for Chaats at Prayagraj. We went in the evening. The sitting area is right next to the tawa and it's reasonably warm inside, to the point of being uncomfortable. We ordered papdi chaat & tomato chaat. Both of them were spicy and okay. The tomato chaat is served hot which with the spice in the summer made it too hot. We then ordered for dahi vada, which was good. Each of the items were priced at 60/- each. Would recommend the Dahi vada which was really good.

Aloo chat , matar chat, cost 80 rs per plate , golgappe 20 rs per plate of five golgappe . Staff hygiene is of concern specially golgappe one . They have long nails dirty, no gloves. MR pankaj kesarwani the third generation owner ( estd 1949) is very casual and not concerned about food saftey or quality .
Nirala chat and mishthan has been serving people for over 70 years now . Apart from two branches one at loknath and the other in bahadurganj they have opened up a new one in civil lines right next to tuck in near pvr. They serve lipsmacking aloo tikki and gulab jamuns, pani puri and dahi bahra all made in desi ghee. The ambience is neat . The service is also quick. Do try .
