Second time I’ve come to this salon to get my haircut done by Afra who is the most loveliest lady ever. She does an excellent job at cutting my hair. The service is always fast and amazing. I’ve had no issues whatsoever. I would recommend this salon to anyone especially if you are a muslim woman who wears hijab, they also have a private haircut room.

I love blowouts and get them regularly, I have got a blowout from everywhere I’ve traveled to in the world and let me just say this salons blowouts don’t disappoint. I recently moved here from the States and was trying to find a good salon to do my hair when I found this one and I’m so happy I did. I’ve came here at least 6-7 times already and left so satisfied not only do they make the blowouts look amazing they also last for a while so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Last time I went I also got my eyebrows threaded and the lady did them so nice. I already have kind of complicated eyebrows and she was able to make them look amazing without telling her what to do. This place is definitely worth it and I recommend everyone come here.

I went to get a balayage on 25/11/25. I’ve been to a lot of salons but this place was by far the best. The team were very warm, friendly and professional. Marwa did my hair and she did it better than I imagined, her work is truly amazing. Will definitely be back!

I got my hair wash, cut and blow dry by Marwa today and was highly pleased with the end result. She did an amazing job and made sure I was happy throughout the entire process and did exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend this place, and it is also perfect for hijabis as they have a private room!

I visited this salon for the first time for a facial and absolutely loved it. The ambience is calm, feminine and relaxing. Dipti was so sweet and lovely when doing my facial. She gave me lots of advice and was accommodating to my skin needs. Would definitely recommend Maryam’s Hair and Beauty Salon!!

I had a great experience with Jessy getting my hair trimmed and styled. I wanted to retain the length and change the style slightly, and she did it perfectly and gave me styling tips as well. Also super quick and efficient, this salon is super comfortable to go to.

This was the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. The manicurist worked so roughly that I was literally shouting and jumping from the pain. It was obvious they were not professionally trained and could not even communicate in English, making the service unsafe and distressing. Beforehand, I asked the receptionist how much nail removal would cost and even showed my nails to confirm. Despite this, when it came time to pay, they changed the price without warning. This is misleading and unfair trading, which is unlawful under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. On top of that, neither the manicurist nor the receptionist offered any apology for the pain or the intimidation I felt. Instead, I was left terrified, disrespected, and pressured to pay more than I had agreed to. This salon should not be allowed to operate because they are: Endangering public health and safety by letting unqualified and possibly unlicensed staff carry out nail services. Breaching consumer rights by changing the agreed price (a violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and unfair trading regulations). Failing duty of care by causing physical harm and emotional distress. I will be reporting this salon to Trading Standards, the local council licensing authority, and Environmental Health. I expect a full refund immediately, and I strongly warn others to avoid this place until they are investigated and held accountable.

I had a great experience with Maryam! She was really easy and comfortable to talk to from the very beginning, and made sure I felt relaxed throughout the appointment. She gave me her honest opinion on the haircut I had in mind, and I’m so glad I listened—I’m really happy with how it turned out. She also shared some great advice on health and wellness, which was super helpful for maintaining healthy hair. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
