Disappointed by Kasturi's Declining Standards I've always considered Kasturi a premium family restaurant, which makes this recent experience at their Puri branch all the more disappointing. Food Quality: The dishes fell far short of expectations. Even their specialty—Kachu bata diye chingri mach—was surprisingly bland and lacked the flavor profile one would expect from a signature dish. The Alu posto was equally disappointing, with barely any posto (poppy seeds) to speak of. Service & Presentation: The service was poor throughout our visit. We were served water in cheap disposable glasses, which felt inconsistent with the restaurant's positioning as a premium establishment. When you're paying premium prices, you expect attention to detail in every aspect. Menu Issues: The thali advertised on the menu was unavailable when we tried to order it. Listing items that aren't actually available is misleading and frustrating for customers.

A nice restaurant in Puri, we visited last week. Neat and clean, good seating arrangements, hygienic and authentic bengali dishes served by courteous and helpful staff at affordable cost. Looking forward to visit again. Recommend others to visit this place

Kochupata diye chingri bhapa is the OG!! One must try :) We took crab (chilika crab, average in size, preparation on top), Chittol mach er muitha( preparation was amazing), Dhokar Dalna(not so well, didn’t suit the food palate) If in Puri must visit and try the place, on weekends it can be a bit crowded( had to wait for an hour before we got our seats)… Not too pricey a place can be visited 😄 Also Thali was not available!

It’s located in marine drive near swargodwar, Puri. Service is fast, food quality is good, staffs are well mannered, cutleries are clean. Unfortunately they are not serving thalis only ala-carte is available. Portion size is not complementing the price. Budget : 1000 for 2
