1-Star Review: Disappointing Experience at The Food Court by FESTIN, Puri 😩 (1/5) - Terrible I am writing this review to detail the utterly unacceptable experience my party and I had at The Food Court by FESTIN in Puri on November 27, 2025. My visit was marked by a cascade of errors and an almost offensive lack of customer service, resulting in one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered. The issues began with the food quality and accuracy of the order. We explicitly ordered Chicken Fried Rice, but what was eventually served was undeniably Egg Fried Rice. This basic failure to deliver the correct item is inexcusable and immediately soured the meal. Worse still was the waiting time and the temperature of the food. Despite waiting an excessively long 30 minutes, the food arrived stone cold. When we politely pointed out to the waiter that the food was cold, the response was shockingly dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or offering a resolution, the waiter insisted that the food was "hot" in a profoundly sarcastic tone. This dismissive and passive-aggressive behavior is simply not what one expects from a service professional and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The combination of incorrect, cold, and severely delayed food, paired with the sarcastic and unhelpful service, makes this a dining experience to be avoided. The quality of the food was subpar and the service was a disgrace. I strongly advise potential diners to look elsewhere for a reliable and respectful meal in Puri.

Very bad experience am sitting here right now and writing the review the food was mid butter chicken was like honey chicken as it was too much sweet and the service was very bad they were unresponsive and very late. Very bad experience

Must visit place if you want a fine dine option . They have delicious food options. Staff's behaviour is also remarkable. Chicken biryani is a must try.

Food Court by FESTIN appears to deliver both excellent cuisine and friendly service—you can enjoy the biryani, paneer, and chilli chicken, along with the calm atmosphere.

When I was in Puri, this was my go-to place, like a nostalgic spot for me. I really loved the chicken biryani here.There weren’t many people there, and the building had a Smart Bazaar on the ground floor, so it was usually crowded. But the cafeteria was mostly empty, making it a quiet and peaceful place.They also serve an amazing combination of manchow with fried rice in the veg menu—definitely a must-try! The place is still under construction, but it’s really nice and worth visiting.

The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were well-balanced. The ingredients were fresh, and the portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. While the overall experience was positive, there is room for improvement in a couple of areas. Firstly, the noise level in the restaurant could be a bit high during peak hours, making it challenging to have conversations without raising one's voice.
