Taste of food is very good specially kadi pakoda no garlic and no onion use
Though the place is good and is near Dhashashwamedh ghat. They have dormitory facility too. They charged around Rs 2000 for non AC rooms and Rs. 2500 for AC rooms for a day. Everything was ok but the only thing which was off was a "man continuously staring at us" that made us very uncomfortable and disturbing. Such places should be careful whom they are appointing for work. He knew that we were being watched by him, still he tried to act smart and sat on a chair in front of us and smiled.
One can’t expect a place of good inside a lane. The food is perfect and very clean. Ambience is perfect.
This place is inside a narrow street right behind Deena chat house. So it's easy to miss. But this is the best place to eat for pure veg or Jain meals. The bhar-pet thali is 170rs and service is too good. If you are traveling to Banaras and not yet done that, I would recommend get any dharmshala near this restaurant (kishan beriwala / marwadi dharmshala) as it would make you experience much better cause good food will be on walking distance.
Best place to have the meal when you are in and around Assi Ghat or nearby Gypsy diaries hostel. You get full thali for 150 and it's unlimited. It's a pure veg restaurant.
The marwari kitchen is a wonderful place to have simple meal. Perfect word would be "ghar ka khana". Clean and Tidy. Comprising of 4-5 curries/sabzi, 1 daal, papad, wholesome salad, tawa Roti, missi roti, rice, kheer. The food variety that they offered was so much that we couldn't eat much. All the preprations without garlic & onions. And cherry on the top is there minimal pricing of this thali. Owner of this outlet is very cordial and is a gem of a person. He has assisted us locally, out of the way. This would be the place i would be suggesting to my known ones ! A piece of suggestion would be for a tidier wash basin area and frequent cleaning of toilet. Thankyou for the sumptuous food!
