I only had plain dosa n idli vada combo. Nothing very special. Average. But I saw mostly others were enjoying North Indian cuisine like dal n paneer etc. so sctovant comment but South Indian was just okey. Whether it’s coconut chutney or sambhar. Regular Tay

I visited this restaurant for dinner. The combo of Paneer Chettinad and Malabar Paratha was tasty. However, they charge soup dividing charges when I asked the dish to be served 1 by 2. I have seen such charges for the first time in India. I was informed about this when they gave the bill. It was NOT mentioned in the menu card. Please stay vigilant while paying the bill as they charge additional service tax by default (which is not compulsory to pay) in addition to GST. After I told the waiter that I did not wish to pay the service charge, he was not aware that it is optional to pay and had to call the manager to confirm the same. The manager finally removed it from the bill.

We recently visited Curry Leaves for an office lunch with a group of eight. The overall experience was highly positive. The food quality here is truly exceptional—the ingredients are fresh, and the preparation is clearly best in class. My only critique is that, for a Banarasi palate, the dishes significantly lacked the expected spiciness. Despite this, the quality remains top-notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and drinks. Service was good but admittedly a bit slow on that particular day due to multiple parties, yet the staff was attentive and satisfactory when available. The best elements, by far, are the wonderful ambiance and the convenient location. Thank you for opening Curry Leaves in Varanasi!

Awesome restaurant! Infant the best. Amazing restaurant and loved their food. People are so amazing. Azad bhaiyya is absolutely fabulous. He went beyond and above for us. He waded through flooded street to deliver us food. I cannot thank Azad bhaiyya enough for being such a genuine, friendly and an amazing human being. Very courteous staff and very friendly. They took our feedback in a very constructive way. If you are looking for authentic southern food this is the place!

I had a very poor experience at Curry Leaf Restaurant. The food quality was way below expectations – bland, oily, and not fresh at all. What made it worse is that they highly recommended certain dishes, and those turned out to be the worst on the table. It honestly felt like they were pushing leftovers or poorly prepared items just to get rid of them. When I brought up the issues with the staff, there was no apology or attempt to make things right. Absolutely no compensation or concern for customer satisfaction. It’s clear that they don’t value feedback or repeat customers. There are plenty of better places around. I definitely won’t be going back, and I strongly advise others to avoid anything they recommend.

I had a delightful experience here. Place stands out for its authentic South Indian flavours, paired with warm hospitality and great service. I tried veg chettinad, which, to be honest, didn’t look very appealing but but but flavours were bold rich and full of traditional spices.

I visited first time and i must say i just love this place and better for those who love great ambient environment and love hygienic food. I recommend to everyone visit this place. Good place for family dinner. Om Kumar gave the better services and love their nature.

I first went to Curry leaf at Varanasi in January 2025 and since then I have become a regular to this place. Undoubtedly best eating place for south indian dishes (that is what I always order). Food is very authentic, place is extremely clean, warm and hospitable. Menu choice is great and well curated. Waiters are extraordinarily warm, hospitable and well mannered. And to especially name some one, it is Gautam Singh who make dining experience extra ordinary. Must trry their south indian thaali and chilli masala idly. A must visit place, anytime, everytime.
